Know who's coming in. Decide with data, not gut.
Foot traffic is the earliest signal for sales, staffing, conversion, and marketing ROI. We install FootfallCam sensors at every entrance and turn the count into a daily operating signal — not a number you check at end of quarter.
What happens when you can see foot traffic.
Headline results from FootfallCam deployments across 30,000+ businesses globally.
Five decisions footfall data unlocks.
Choose the right location
Compare site-by-site traffic, tenant mix, and behaviour patterns before signing a lease. Stop opening on instinct.
Increase sales opportunities
Correlate live foot traffic with transactions to expose your real conversion rate — and the days, hours, and zones where you're leaving sales on the floor.
Maximise marketing impact
Measure the actual foot traffic a campaign drove. Replace the "did the radio ad work?" guess with a number.
Optimise staffing
Dynamic rosters built on real-time traffic patterns. Don't over-staff Tuesday mornings or under-staff Saturday 2pm.
Privacy by design
Edge processing, no facial recognition, GDPR and APP-compliant. You count people, not identify them — and your customers know it.
Sensor, dashboard, decision.
FootfallCam sensors mount discreetly above every entrance — bi-directional counting, 98%+ accuracy, no privacy compromise.
The cloud dashboard shows live traffic, daily/weekly/monthly trends, conversion rates when paired with POS data, and benchmarks across your sites.
Alerts and exports get the right number in front of the right person — operations gets staffing recommendations, marketing gets campaign attribution, leadership gets the boardroom slide.
You can't manage what you don't measure. With footfall data, you measure the thing every other store metric depends on.
People counting, answered.
What buyers want to know before they commit to a footfall analytics rollout.
How accurate is the counting?
98%+ accuracy on FootfallCam units in standard retail and commercial environments. Calibration drift over time is minimal because the sensors process on-edge rather than relying on a server-side model that needs retraining.
Does it use facial recognition or identify individual people?
No. The sensors process video on the device — only the count leaves the unit. No images, no facial data, no individual identification. Australian Privacy Principles compliant and GDPR-ready out of the box.
Can it count by zone — specific aisles or display areas, not just entrances?
Yes. FootfallCam supports zone counting, dwell time, and queue measurement in defined areas. We design the sensor layout to capture the questions you actually want answered, not just door-counts.
Can we integrate footfall data with our POS to calculate conversion rate?
Yes. Conversion rate (transactions ÷ visitors) is one of the most-asked integrations. We export footfall data via API or scheduled report, and BI teams typically join it to POS in their existing analytics platform.
What about staff being counted as visitors?
Staff entrances can be excluded geographically (separate sensor not facing staff doors) or via configurable rules. For mixed entrances, the count includes everyone — but the baseline staff number is so consistent it falls out of the conversion calculation.
How is the data accessed? Will my team need training?
FootfallCam ships with a cloud dashboard accessible via browser — most operators are productive in under fifteen minutes. Reports can be scheduled to email so non-dashboard users get the numbers without logging in.
Stop guessing how many people walk past.
One site or one hundred — we'll spec, install, and integrate the data.
